Tego Guiter Hero 3 Skins gear | (0)
I'm a huge fan of Guitar Hero 3 for Wii, but not with the standard vanilla guitar. While it does come with some stickers that you can plaster all over the white plastic, it somehow misses the mark in terms of style. I checked out some of the skins that I've seen at electronics stores and was similarly unimpressed. So what else was I to do, but create my own skin? Tego offers custom cell phone and GH3 skins that you can apply and remove whenever you would like. You can choose the background color, insert text, or choose a picture ...

New Zoomies Unboxing Pics toys | (0)
Here are some pics of my brand new Fritz Zoomie toy and car from Kidrobot. Fritz came wearing his usual argyle sweater, holding a cup of coffee, and with removable sunglasses. I was lucky enough to get only two pieces and the other one happened to be his car. Good looking out Kidrobot! I like the coffee-fueled Zoomie racing series and bought the Edward 10 degree polo shirt. If anyone has Edward and his Bulldozer, I'd gladly trade him for my set, though they're already open and on display. Continue Reading...

Adidas meets Porsche clothes | (0)
Adidas worked with Porsche to create a shoe with smooth lines, foot pedal treads and outstanding design. If only it came in colors other than this Mahogany/ Cherry color.

Urban Vinyl Invades MoMA toys | (0)
MoMA is currently showcasing a number of vinyl pieces including 10 Dunny and 3 Munny characters from Paul Bunitz, Huck Gee and Tristan Eaton. One of the highlights of the pieces selected is the "Hello, My Name Is" Dunny created by Paul himself. The toy art exhibition will run through November, so work it into your plans the next time you're in NYC.

Kidrobot and Burton go Boarding gear | (0)
This is so sick. The folks at Kidrobot really outdid themselves this time. They have two custom snowboard styles, complete with Jacket, Snowpants and Burton Boards. Mmmmm... purple robot head.

Hands on with the Wii Zapper gear | (0)
Nintendo recently released a 'Zapper' gun accessory to allow two-handed machine gun like grip for shooting games, while keeping the nunchuck available for movement. I had a chance to play around with the Zapper and Link's Crossbow training. I'm a huge fan of shooting games in general and it was an enjoyable play. It's not really a full game, as we managed to beat it (albeit with all Bronze) in just one night. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable mini-game. The grip is slightly awkward and takes a while to get used to. As a righty, I ended up using my ...

Dr Dre is bringing the Beats gear | (0)
Not only do these headphones look sweet, they're also state of the art, sound-isolating, and chock full of base. Dre worked along with Monster, the folks behind uber high quality audio and visual Monster Cables, to create these headphones that pick up low-frequency bass sounds better than anything on the market. How much for these beauties? 400 bones. That's no joke. With beats like that, who could forget about Dre?

    Sony Mylo 2 phones | (0)
This internet-only device is outfitted with wifi and bluetooth connectivity and allows users to email, IM and use VOIP internet calling to keep in touch with friends. It also has a full QWERTY keyboard, which is a requirement for any SMS fiend like myself. I really like the concept of this device and would definitely consider it if I lived somewhere urban with decent wifi coverage. It may even be ideal for college students to avoid having to pay a pesky cell-phone bill.

Steve Jobs bringing new toys in 2008? phones | (0)
It seems that for the last 4 or 5 years, Apple has introduced some kind of innovative electronics at Macworld. From various incarnations of the iPod to the revolutionary iPhone smartphone, Steve keeps raising the bar each year. So what's in store for the Macworld keynote address tomorrow at 9 AM PST? Some have speculated on an iPhone Nano, even going so far as to create slick mockups. I have to agree with Engadget on the possible size of such a release. Not only does a phone require more components that an mp3 player such as a radio and better battery, ...
